Oh, so the magnets basically hold themselves , and the super glue, or epoxy, just keeps them in place ? I never would have thought of that!

I did something similar on mine. After a few years I noticed occasionally I'd get a fail message and the speedo wouldn't read but it was intermittent. Eventually I discovered the magnet had rotted away to almost nothing as it was exposed to the elements

Yay. IC pipes fit under the bonnet. Now I just need to make new holes in the IC and get all the necessary parts welded together.

WTF. After I installed new crank bearings it hit me, I'm missing the other bearing cap stiffener!! Anyone got a spare??

For the curious, mk1 did have only one stiffener installed as stock hence the reason why one was "missing" from my engine...

Will Do I've already washed it couple of times before it got sent to welder and will wash it again before fitting it in Will actually do the same to all IC pipes and bends when all the parts are ready to be installed.

Yay. Got the IC back from the welder. Quick test fit and it still fits.
