Tidy conversion. Underfloor heating?! Brilliant. Any of you professional engineers out there hazard a guess at the rough component cost for a home build version if a kit were created?

The conversion of that car is pretty simple. The electric motor and , drive and controls / battery pack are all that has been added. Swindon built a transmission tunnel into the car, which houses the batteries. I believe they are all inserted from underneath with car on ramps. The Mini, retains std hubs, brakes cv joints etc, but has regenerative braking from the electric drivetrain . I forgot to ask them what the all up weight was. Range is 100miles on a charge at present and isn't as fast as our conversions, but it's a step in the right direction. Will be interesting to hear the cars cost when they start selling.
