Hey Guys,
I have just a quick question: Maybe I'm considering a G13B conversion. I would like to keep my 10" wheels as well as my Innocenti Cooper dash. As far as I know, the 3.5 final drive would be spot on for 10" wheels. But is there a way to keep my beloved speedo (and tacho) as well? Kind regards ![]() |

No reason for you not to keep the tacho but as for speedo you have two options...
Make a custom speedo cable...one end Mini the other Suzuki... Take a Suzuki gauge and put it in Innocenti housing...that's what I did on a Suzuki I built for a customer...although those were Nippon Seiko type Mini gauges. |

Thanks for your reply.
Isn't there a speed sensor on the Suzukis speedo cluster? If I would build a custom speedo cable, the ECU would lose some information, right? |

Yes, there is a VSS (vehicle speed sensor) inside the gauge cluster and when you make a custom cable you won't be able to use it...although I did read somewhere that you actually don't need it/can drive without it.
Put the Suzuki gauge inside the Inno cluster and you will kill two birds with one stone...it does require some fettling but it will worth a while |
