Lol ... I always cringe when I fire the grinder up ...

Flat bed looks good ... tilt bed is far better than ramps ...
Keep the good work up

Theyíre mgf wheels, 15x6 I think. 185.45ís. I like them too. I think I will go for banded steels at a later date, but I just wanna get done first! Haha

Got some golf ďbergĒ arches coming, so hopefully I can keep it looking good but with the wheels covered.

Default Blackbird turbo powered mini

Iíve actually had 3hours in the garage today!! This isnít gonna be everyoneís cuppa tea, but I like it. Same design as I used in my smart car and it worked and looked good. Just need a decent gear knob now. Prob just a cylinder shape alloy one again.

My mrs hates it, says it too tall haha

I drilled the top and welded some m10 thread in it for the knob.

Iíve put the shifter in a decent place for everyone. Itís a little far forward for me (short arms) but Iím thinking as itís welded in, when it does come to if I sell it, other people need to be able to drive it.

Comments welcome.

Btw.....itíll all be painted the same colour as the inside of the car as itís welded. Iím thinking a nice bright red for all the insides, cage, shifter, bulkhead, under the bonnet and powder coated red subframes. I donít think itís far off the proper strip down to go paint etc! Obv I need to make a steering column, tank and pipe work.

Looks good Dave , maybe some small gussets top and bottom drilled holes in them would add to the look
