The front end will be extended steel round nose. Here are a few more pics. I've cut off the front end and found more rust. A few more panels and metal plates to weld.

I've got the DVD quite handy and amusing. Painted the bulkhead with anti rust and hammerite. Welded a plate to the floor for the engine stabaliser. Cut the steering bracket off the bulkhead and cut the hole for the metro steering rack. Here are a few pics

The work I done today started off with cutting a lug off the gearbox for more clearance between the steering rack. Welded a few metal strips to the floor for the subframe mountings (as previous pics). Fitted the subframe and engine as a trial fit. Removed engine and cut out the bulkhead for clearence for the inlet manifold.

Pulled the engine out and fitted some new brake pipes. There is more room for the water pipes and ICV since I cut the bulk head panel. Fitted engine and started on the wiring. Used a fuse box off a Rover 200 and spliced the Honda loom into the mini wiring. Fitted Doctronic chip to the ecu. Original fuse box is rotten.
