Default Improving the gear linkage

Hey Guys,

So the throw on my gear leaver is a bit on the long side. I've seen people cutting the leaver and decreasing the length above the pivot and increasing bellow, is there another option out there?

Its been while since i modified the linkage is there a bushing or two i should be replacing? I just can't remember.

If you are using the standard Suzuki shift linkage, there are several small bushings as well as the large rubber housing. The rubber housing is most often degraded and very loose. I rebuilt mine with "Shoe-Goo" a very strong silicone patching compound. I blocked the bottom, and poured the bushing full from the top. Took @ 3 days to cure, and has been fine since.

Cheers
