Default Mini wheels with a metro subframe and brake set up

Hi guys Just fitted a vvc 160 engine in my mini I've fitted the subframe and engine no problem is it possible to use 13" deepdish alloys with this set up I know the sud patten is different but is there anyway round it I don't really like any of the metro alloys, and does anyone have pics of a modified steering column and will I need to moddifie the brake peddles. Thanks in advance. Lee

First of all welcome to the forum.

Next, this really is a Rover question so would be better posted in the Rover section!

If you want to fit Mini wheels they will stick out a massive amount. The only proper way around this is to get the studs removed and Mini studs fitted to the drive flange and discs set to the correct PCD.

The pedals, it depends what you want from it. If you plan running a non brake servo setup then you need a non servo pedal and yellow tag master cylinder. The brake servo can be moved to the left hand side and reused by making a bracket. See "Gazwad"'s build.

The clutch you can use as standard Master and make a bracket for the Mini slave, or modify to use a cable (like mine).

The Metro column comes through the floor under the brake pedal so the pedal needs to be bent or cut and welded to clear the frame
