Default Yamaha R1 Sump Baffle Plate

Is anyone on here running an early R1 engine with a sump baffle plate?

Been looking around on various sites but all I can find are some aluminium ones that have drain tabs that look like they might eventually detach due to the vibration of the high revving engine. I might be wrong with that assumption.

Perhaps a steel plate may be the way to go but I can't seem to find any suppliers.

Check out ab performance. They might have something for you. But might be pricey.

Thanks for the heads-up. Will give them a shout and report back.
