This is just an observation, but are you sure that you have used that engine in the correct orientation. Under acceleration the engine will try to rotate backwards and forwards around the driveshafts as the torque is transferred to the road, the engine and gearbox mounts should try try to resist this, but you have created a pivot rather than as restriction, I think the engine mount needs to be rotated 90 degrees to help stop the engine titling backwards and forwards. i.e. the bolt through the mount needs to point front to back not side to side.

Jip the engine will pivit but there are two mountings in the front next to the exhaust and im planning to make a plan for the back of the engine as well to prevent it from piviting to the front and back and hopfully this would help, its difficut to move the mounting as there isnt really space the engine is a bit too big but will find out one day.

That's Cool Evolution, my message about the flimsy frame didn;t come from your comment, it was in reply to message No 20 from Marco.

All good.

Looking good mate - keep up the good work, I know how much of a pig these Toyota engines are to fit! If you have a look on my build page 1, 3rd photo down, you'll see the Toyota torque mount that I modified. I'm also going to fit a lower gearbox steady from a mini at the front, going from the subframe and picking up one of the mounting holes at the botom of the gearbox bell housing. Doing this (or something similar) should stop the engine twisting under load.
