Default micra conversion - help please :)

Heya,
I'm new to the forum but not to minis, Ive been recommended to join the forum by someone over on TMF as im looking to do the micra 1.3 conversion.
I already have a few parts put aside but my main issue is getting hold of a subframe. I've been let down so many times about having one built for me i now just want to buy one outright. I was told someone on here makes them or can point me in the right direction?
I dont want to go with allspeed simply because of the price, i dont see why i have to buy the frame and their arms which are almost as much as the frame itself?!

Anywho..
This is Nelly after her tiebar fell out coming home from brands hatch - shes feeling better now, currently running a 998 after a friend bodged my 1330 and it blew up..

I would suggest going all speed for piece of mind yes some one could make one for you but there is no guarantee with it welcome to 16v and the frames by allowed are reasonably priced imo yes it's a hassle getting their components but again you do get a piece of mind

Well it was my plan to buy one in the first place until a member of TMF told me it could be done cheaper through someone on here. I have the money put aside for the allspeed, its just if i can get it cheaper then i will lol.

I wouldn't worry about the arms as if you stick around here a pair would come ups for 2/3 the price or if you are lucky 1/2!

The only person who I can think of that possibly would have done it is Kieran, he used to do Honda frames mostly, but did do other frames too.
As far as I'm aware, he's stopped doing fab work.

Cheers for the info gang, I guess il go for the frame and hang back on the arms for the time being! TMF is the mini forum. I think the fella may have been referring to kieran but no worries if he isn't building them anymore.
Real excited to get started
My plan is to build as much of it outside of the car as possible then take her offroad for a short time for the install. possibly borrow a friend of mines junker shell to build it up into

think it probably a safe bet to go for the frame junky,
I was half takeing the mikel about t,m,f
I googled the Austin 1300gt easrlyer today and came across a thred on there,
I nearly piSSed myself at the coments about the fine 1300gt engine
it got mixed up with cooper,s 1275 and no single poster had a clue
I beleves/possablys/I thinks, anyway I prolly stumbled on a bad one,
your man on t,m,f gave you incorrect info about keiren,, if it was that is
keren dabeld with a few frames and is not a comershal frame builder,

I few people are using allspeed frame but not using their arms, look into it. The main thing i don't like about them is that they aren't on car adjustable...

Makes sense really, will just need to save up more lol. will hang fire on buying the arms just yet and order the frame at the end of this month i hope!
Also just to add, after reading that post about the frame costs etc, i worked out including vat and delivery its more towards the 520.00 mark rather than the 410.00... wish they were a little more open about their total costs rather than having to go through the buying process before finding out the cost.
