ok so the assessor came through today, his going to put to this insurance co that he thinks cash 1650, thats probebly not a million miles off, but i dont know how much a respray will cost, because im not doing it again.

what do people recon? should i still try a barter it up? i was thinking of getting a list for how much all the parts will cost and then get my garage to write up a quote on how much they would charge for the work to see if its gona be more than 1650 first because tbh i know i could do all the work and id be up but i just dont want to have to

they'll write it off buddy. id want at least 2.5k tho?

shame as well, youve put a fair few years in it. if you need a hand repairing it give me a shout, im only down the road.

looking at the damage again, its not too bad? you can change all those panels in a weekend, for less than 100.. then just make some new arches.

then with the 4.5k you have spare will pay for a nice snowboarding trip?

get this right its 1600 and you keep the car?? make sure they dont turn up with a traylor!! its easy for me to say ,but 500 will repair it,its matt black right?

Ok little update got a cheque through for 1650, and I can claim vat for any parts or labour I pay for.
Im going to do some online shopping for parts and il get round to repainting it,
but Im thinking il do satin purple next

It's back on the road as of the other week. Two new radius arms and wheel arches fiberglassed back n to the brackets ...sorted. Just needs a new door or skin and all the cosmetic damage sorted. I can't be peachd to touch any of that yet

I little update on my mini. After that little bump in 2012 , got it back on the road then after a few months the head gasket went.
And it has been sat on my dads drive since.

So...

Its up for sale.

Ill be putting an ad on the for sale section. Pm me if any one is interested
