5c35 gearbox, best one you can get for a mini, got the tallest final drive out all the R65 gearboxes

cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

that was a stroke of LUCK

i followed MATT instructions he said look for a 1.1 with less than 50000 miles

i looked at lots in the scap yard then noticed that most of them either had 80 000 + mles or only had 4 gears !!!!

then i found this one ,5 gears 39 000 miles!!!!!

glad u told me i got right one after the effort it took me and my mate DAZ to get it out, i would have been so grapesed if it was wrong one

cheers for your reply EVOLUTION

Im pretty sure that flywheel wont work . You need to try and find a 1.6 flywheel from a car that had mpi injection. But first you are best to take the flywheel out of your vvc and we can try and find out exactly what flywheel you will need. A 1.6 flywheel will be best because the bigger cluth will bolt on to it.

It shouldnt cost alot but will be hard to find one.

looking on metro power and you will need a flywheel from a r65u which was used in rover 416 and a 216. These flywheels are 4 pole flywheels but im not sure but it may be possible to use any mpi twincam engine flywheels from the old k series engines (before they went to mems 3 ecus).
