Been up in Leeds this weekend helping dad fit the pop top that hes refurbed. It was falling apart when he got it so there was alot of trial and error putting it together. Needs some latches and seals but it works.

It's taken 18 months from start to finish, Don't think i will do another, They are so bloody big, I'm surprised how well it drives thou, As i haven't driven one before, I will put the trailer on the back next week to see how it tow's, May have to set off earlier to barkston than i do with the transit, but the luxury will be worth it,
Steve.

I pinched the van last week and headed down to the new forest/south coast. Me and Shell did 600 miles in it and it never missed a beat. Thanks again for letting us borrow it dad!

That looks really, really good Steve, shame it never made it to Barkston.
Did you replace the coolant pipes front to back?

Yes shame about not making barkston, not tried towing the car on the trailer yet, the steel coolant pipes from the fuel tank back to the engine had already been replaced with rubber hose, so swapped the front section for hose as well, Phil jinxed it with last nights post, starter packed up, re- manufactured starter motor, only done 1800 miles most of them on the motorway, carbon brush mount had come loose and brush had fallen out, bumped it off and got it home, see its not just minis.
Steve.
