you might have problems with that clutch slave mounted to the subframe , as when the engine rocks the clutch position will change.
(you should look into the internal slave from vauxhall , much nicer)

also you can get a short stubby oil filter of a TD vauxhall , gives you more room for rad etc.

Yes maph I've still got the wheels. They are up for grabs if you're interested. Looking for about 200 for the 4. Tyres are pretty good on them too.

Matt I had wondered about the mounting of the slave. Didn't fancy the concentric slave with it sitting inside the gearbox housing so though I would give this a go. May even end up sticking with a cable operated clutch in the end. Thought this might just feel a little less snatchy

hydric is the way to go , much better than cable , but dont worry about the internal jobbie , cheap to buy new , they will out last anything else on the engine ..

Well my throttle bodies have turned up so decided on a trial fit

Unfortunately they were nowhere near fitting so out came the grinder....

Quite a big hole as you can see. Just need to get it all boxed up n good as gold. Should be some nice induction roar in the cabin with the air filter being under my nose!

Had a slight setback tonight. Started welding the bulkhead box in and thought best just check fitment of throttle bodies.

Yep they fit ok with air filter on. Errrrm how will I get the air filter off? Look like going for some more sheet metal tomorrow and making the box an inch or so deeper.

These things are sent to try us

Managed to get a little bit done this evening. Bought some 1.6 sheet and made myself a LARGE bulkhead box to house my throttle bodies and got it partially welded in

Doesn't leave much room for instruments inside tho

Well things have been going very slowly lately as I seem to be lacking enthusiasm. Started to try and work out the wiring for the sensors to megasquirt n got most of them matched up

Done a bit of a mod job on a pedal box as I need to be floor mounted

Got my throttle bodies and linkage sorted

and bought a few more bits
