Can I say that I have had no issues at all using the yellow tag master. My brake pedal has less than a inch of travel before the brakes connect then the pedal will not go past halfway even under hard braking. You will have all the tyres skidding at that point.

Unless there is something actually wrong with the master I cannot see that being the problem.

Thanks, it sounds that it works for some people and not for others,
maybe its the differencies mk1-mk3 boxes and miss matched pedals etc
maybe it will work out for me with a disk pedal or maybe not…
i lost my faith with the yellow band and going for a kad setup instead, just have to check clearances first

pros
adjustable pedal height du to threaded bar
easily swappable cylinders for fine tuning force/travel
brake bias

– and maybe the most important factor, it looks cool under the bonnet

i read some people have had issues with the bias binding,
and z cars went away from it for a single 3/4 clutch master instead
somewhat old threads and maybe they have improved the design

on returning!

Is it possible that the calipers are flexing under pressure ? Do you have a way to measure total width while pushing brake pedal and when relaxed ?

Maybe rigging a indicator watch will tell?
Tracked it yesterday, brakes are rubbish
