Default Help with servicing Swift engine

Help needed.....
I want to service my 2003 swift 998cc
Has it got points....
I've purchased as follows leads,plugs,cap,rotor arm but wasn't sure of points .. This is where I need assistants what type are they if there is any,
Also it 10/40w oil ok to use
And what's the timing mark for setting the points .... Is it top dead center just before or after, I'm not sure that's why I'm needed some help,

G10 especially 2003 won't have a point.

You will need to get timing light and connect to no1 cylinder with power from your battery.
Then start engine, shine your timing light to your crankshaft poulley which has groove for the timing. I think timing is 8 degreesbefore TDC.
