Good find Shaun
I don't fancy the Throckmorton one as its just going round cones. The Curborough one might be an option, the Smurfies did a track day there a few weeks ago Steve said it was good.

Looks good! About two hours from me, going to need better ear defenders.

Good start men !! Ive been in contact on my own behalf without mention of a club possabilaty,
Fully appropiate at current high wind climate, for want of a better set of words,
Its not to much more, seems to start at 60 with a 20 on top for a (B) driver, shaird car,
Drawback seems to be weekday only events, im realyably informed the powers that be
Are looking into that,
On short flurry of qwick responce exchange i find them ameanable,
Possably if its looking hot to trot someone could grab the helm
And maybe find out if we could book the whole shabang !
Sortofthing? Yes i no im getting ahead of myself, lol

Just watched a youtube clip of the Curborough flat hillclimb & it looks like a really nice circuit & in terms of its location its probably quite central for everyone .........

Might have to do some dwarf porn to earn money enough to buy myself a new trailer in order to get there safely though.

Have you bought your Mini yet Bill?

Paul your needed next year to stand the redtop corner against honda, and you andy,
Thers punch ups and blood allover facelessbook in which is qwikest
The way i see the layout is they can use the "faster section"
So thers no litigation about corners, lol,
Well that is if the honda team can raise 5 honda 16v minis to prove
There screems of angwish, im vollantearing the xe boys ofcource(not myself)
I think rovers in with a chance, lol pinch of salt please honda boys,
this looks like a poss venue for this much needed shakedown,,

No, I will get my 205 on the road, Curborough might be worth looking at I wonder if they would open at weekends if we used our own crew?
Fancy checking that out as well Paul?
Shaun

Text me bill when you back from your jollies and I'll phone the guy from Blyton and sort out a meeting. Curborough might be doable as well.

Andy touched on Blyton being very fast. What would we all prefer? I would like a more technical circuit with a some tricky corners and chicanes.......like Barkston was

whats everyones preference?

Paul

As Bill has kindly pointed out I am rather nervous of driving at a dillion miles an hour in a straight line just before entering a tight corner as any driver incompetence or mechanical failure would be magnified in terms of an expensive bosh & time consuming repair ............ been there done that .

I'm more than happy to be re-assured that the fast bits of Bylton have some decent run-off though, fast is fun, it's crashing i'm not keen on

Technical tricky stuff is deffo more fun than a fast blast.
