Default andy's red top rebuild project

hi all,
i've been on this site for a while and have found it really helpful. i bought my project about 12months ago from ludsonline. so i thought i should now start build thread as i start to make some progress.

its monsterer, village idiot old car

so AMT subframe c20xe and the plan is to put it on bike carbs

i've got the engine back in now so starting the rebuild, however its the start of a long road

i will take photos next time up working on the car
Andy

ok so been a long time since my initial post so thought I'd share some photos of the car now and its progress

and no in its current evolution
its on jenny throttle bodies and made 214nhp and 178ftlbs on the dyno

I will try and keep it unto date now as I carry on doing bits on the car.

most recent purchase is a set of specialist components 13" split rims like the photo below but with different colour centres. I can't wait for them to turn up now and will definitely post photos of them as they arrive and when they're mounted on the car.

the bike carbs were great but you definitely notice the difference with the itbs and now they're setup its a lot less messing about

reasureing! do you have a graph from rolling road?
what profile cams? and nicely backed up choice on other internals!
yes bike carbs just make it run and its a exseptible internet thing to use lol,
thats what i think and im sticking to it ,

even better do you have 2 charts> with carbs and itb,s being the only change ? to see what goese on?

I do have them for both but not sure where I've put them just moved house and still living out of boxes but when I find them I'll upload them.
the bike carbs were great to get it going and definitely a cheaper option. and I wanted to use it and enjoy it so not to fall out of love with the project
but long term plan was always its

yes in boxes,, i been in same place for more years than i can remember and still live out of boxes lol,
yes will be good when you find them to see whats going on,
i know with tb,s its map ajustable and clean ect but the bike carbs just dont convince me,
i know its ok for me to think that ect ect but you may have the proof in the graphs,,
have you seen PIKES build? he live over behind brecon and he is at it!! xe ect,
and do you have the kent cam profile?
