Dont get me wrong but why did you go for a 1.8 vauxhall engine instead of something like a 1.8 honda vtec engine? was it preference? The power you are trying to achieve would be there in its bone stock form...

im guessing we all have just personal preference over makers anyway , ie vauxhall , honda , rover etc ..

so i guess he might like vauxhall , also the 1.8 should fit in round nose ok , using MPI rad , so that could be factor

but mainly vauxhalls rule

Hey, sorry not been on in a while - will have an update soon.

Yeah I could have used a Honda lump, but had previous experiance of the 1400 and 1600 vauxhall units so used the same fame and went for the 1800. Also a standard steel front was a must, not easy with the Honda engine. (But not easy with this build tbf) also I prefer the sound of this engine on itbs over the Honda.

If I wanted straight out power I would have kept my turbo lol

Just seen a link to your Instagram on the SpeedHut page, and the car's done!

We need an update on how you squeezed it all under a roundnose, it looks epic
