Removed the interior today and took it down the tip.
Trail fitted bucket seats i bought from Ozium16v. I didn't realise how off centered the seats are to the pedals, or is it just me?!!!

Little pic

Took a break from watching le mans.
Some silicone hose arrived the other day, so made a start on the inlet.
Got the carbs mounted - just need to jubilee clips to secure them in place.

I used some JB weld to fill the injector holes. Just waiting for it to set properly. I will clean it all up and match the ports up later date.

Also got a wiring module so wiring up should be nice and easy (i hope)
Expensive but a great bit of kit.

That wiring module looks a bit sexy!

Where did you get it from?

The inlet manifold has hardened up nicely and looks really neat!! there is still cleaning up to do on it (like the glue left over from the duck tape)

Also fitted the jubilee clips to hold the silicone hose on - they were a tight fit anyway.

I used JB weld. easy to use, unless you drip the stuff everywhere like i did!

If that comes out and dropped into the inlet then you'll blow it up.

yes i have considered that. but it has been used by others with success, and the injector holes taper.
I am very confident it wont fail!

Today i converted the engine from dispak to dizzy! i was going to use megajolt but it seemed alot simpler and quicker just to bosh a dizzy on.
Plus at a later date when the car works i'll go for some injection.

Removed all the cam sensor and coil pack.

chop chop to the dizzy!

now it fits like a glove

i mounted the ignition module thingy on the mounting plate for the old coil pack and the new coil onto the brake cover plate thingy!!!!
