Cheaper that way, getting them here would cost around 20-30 per bolt.
Most of the Ti bolts on the market are Chinese anyway.

That's a sad state of affairs indeed

Crazy ain't it, I've bought most of the bolts from a UK based company (RaceTi) but he only buys in bulk from China and then resells.
A few parts are made here in the UK, the M12 nuts for example, but certain sizes and threads just aren't available here.

Have you tried these? Just around the corner from where I work. Not sure what stock they hold so might work out expensive for small runs

doctor paul, this is ilogical maybe!
talking to danno in person i took it that plastic fronts are kindof like plastick fronts,, basicly sHit,
so t.i bolts are nice and work||
logic is that decent gear is hard to come by, unlike cRap plastic pannels,
looks good danno,, smooth moves,

I see where Paul is coming from, the Ti is more for a pretty engine bay than anything else.
I'm just not happy with the carbon front, I'm going to keep it and make a "race front" that will accommodate my bigger wheels and slicks.
My old steel front was much stronger and a much better fit, so I'm going back, I've given up on making the car lighter, it's too uncomfortable, I need sound deadening to try and make the car nicer to drive again.

Ti bolts screwed into aluminium engine block or gearbox casing. Other than being a tart, seems a ludicrous waste to me. To make it look nice just paint them like everyone else does!

Didn't realise but half that is my old stuff!

If I paint them, then touch it with a spanner or a socket then I'm gonna have to re-paint them, imagine how frustrating that would be!
Gearbox and head scrubbed up well, they've been modified significantly since I got them but I'm sure they'll serve me well.
