Well … what a weekend , took friday off work , Dad came over to lend a hand , then noticed i had mounted the subframe in the wrong place / subframe had moved during all the cutting of floor i did.
We noticed this once we had test fitted the rear Quarter panel , so stopped that for a while and started cutting out the subframe mounting point I had put in last week.
I then remade the bracket that goes inside the sills , used slightly thicker metal this time as well, and re fitted , then put the inner sill/inner floor strengthener back in , then i was able to plug / spot weld the quarter panel on finally … now i can finish off inside ( rear bin ) and move onto the next part of the car.

did some welding on rear pocket bin , but not finished yet , did collect some genuine Jet Black steel wheels at weekend , saved me buying alloys , and wife don't mind as they are original look , came with hubs caps as well

gave them a clean up , and popped two on , need to get some new rubber for others.

Very good vid. I love the time elapse stuff it's hard to look away! I suppose it gives the added benefit that the swearing and grunting and groaning is hidden from the audience too . Or is that just in my garage?

I wondered if the gaps where you wander off were for a comfort break or to find the tool you had in your hand 2 minutes earlier that you now can't find - about half my time at the moment is spent looking for a 13mm socket.... hopefully that's not just me either
