Why donít you just use a standard engine loom and the necessary adapter loom to plug into the ECU, seems a lot of extra work making a loom when thereís really no need.

I could of done what you've said but I want to move the layout of how the loom sits around the engine I could of probably done it with out making a new loom but at least this way it will be 100% spot on and no compromise

Fair enough, can use some of the extra length to try and hide most of the wiring.

Mine whines on deceleration, I think it has something to do with the steel caged bearings but could be wrong.

Is it consistent with speed or different in each gear? A lot of the pg1 boxes whine due to pitting on the teeth of the crown wheel and pinion gears, it won't cause a problem if its that. The freelanders are especially prone to it due to the extra load from the 4wd system causing pitting more quickly. As said it won't be a problem but if you want to fix it the only cure is to replace the fd with one with no pitting on the teeth

sounds typical of pitting on the cw & pinion teeth, nothing to worry about unless it bothers you

Those alloy front hubs are pure porn. Mostly because they take the bolt on type ball joints!
