Really appreciate all the help. Not sure what to do, I started looking at maybe putting a fuel cell in the trunk and getting an internal pump, I've had luck with those. A friend of mine said to just get a different pump, maybe the Walbro was just bad out of the box so I did order another and should be here tomorrow. So I guess I'll know soon if it was just a bad pump.

About the splashing in the tank, I'm confident the bungs didn't get bent but that's a smart idea. I was reading another build on the forum form "Keoman" and the bungs in his tank are in the same spot mine are - one low for feed and one high for return. I PM'd him to see if he has the splashing/leaking problem. I'll take the return loose at the rail and blow compressed air in there to see if I can unclog something.

Don't get confused bud! Fuel cell in the trunk floor is pants compared to the proper mini tank,!!
Try the new pump and let the tank breath through its standard hole at the top,

Gotcha bud, I'll give it a try. The replacement pump arrived tonight. I'll put it in tomorrow. Also got a fitting and fuel pressure gauge to put on the rail. Should've done that in the first place.
