Check the link provided in the following link, there are two different lengths depending on the 'mini' end if it will be HD allspeed or just standard mini

How do you guys measure ideal length? Just make sure the inner joints don't bottom out inside the joint when the shaft is completely horizontal?

Mock it up with a broom handle and keep cutting it to length and measuring. Just an idea..

This is service to join two different types of driveshaft together. For example a Honda engined Mini will need Honda driveshaft from the gearbox but then a Mini driveshaft on the outer end.

Is this service still available?
Or is there anyone else doing it?

Little update for you.
I spoke to Adam at the beginning of September and sent him my mini and Honda bearings to measure.
Tried to get in touch again last week and he seems to have gone quite or on a nice holiday.
Iíll try again in a week or two.

Thatís disappointing.
Iíve just been to see Jamie at DRD Racing, I had an issue with the circlip groove not being deep enough to allow the clip to compress enough to allow fitment of the CV joint.
All sorted now though and although it was a long time ago I had them made, hecwas more than happy to take care of it and very helpful.
Charly had the same issue with his and had it sorted locally instead, he then snapped one and when he complained, he was given a full refund, he then went on to snap his old driveshaft in the same place so I doubt the issue was a quality issue on DRDís behalf, Charlyís broke at the weak point on the Mini shaft where the large circlip goes, in hinsoght I should have had mine made without that groove and had a shoulder machined in there like competition shafts do.
Anyhow!
Although itís more expensive than having shafts sleeved and Adam does do a great job, Iíd recommend DRD to make you up some one piece shafts, I paid £200 delivered and sent him the CVís and my old shafts to work from although he only needs the CVís to measure the splines really, especially now he knows the circlip groove is 2.3mm deep and not 1.5!

Sound like Iíll may have to go that route. Iím even though Iím down one Honda inner cv casing. Has anyone got one spare?
I have been quoted locally to have mine friction welded but was a little pricy to be honest.

Not to belittle your troubles, but there's only about a week between the beginning of September and last week, give it time!

If you're in a rush, let him know and he'll be able to tell you whether he can fulfil it or not.
