I was staying up in ashbrittle near Taunton for a week , and we were on way to a hill climb event you probably know the place, just came across that airfield in middle of no where after gouging my front bumper on a rock in them there narrow lanes..,

I picked up my fibreglass front end from arc angels while I was down there as well

Had the gearbox off a while back to check condition of the clutch, seemed bollocksed to me (engine/box on 80K), so took the opportunity to get a competition stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel,

and got the box back on, I'm glad it was all out of the car when I was doing it.
Sticking with doing the bear minimum to get this show on the road, Im not even attempting to clean up the engine, it's going in like this

I have spent a bit of time checking what bits and pieces need doing before first start up, and this has been a lot easier thanks to the 5 door civic MB6 sitting on the drive - with identical B18C4 engine

This is pretty much a standard , running engine so if anyone ever needs me to do a pic/vid on where certain wires/sensors, anything fits to I would be happy to help out

So I got it running!

First time in almost 10 years

Had a few issues since the over revving, took the intake manifold off and found i'd accidentally sandwiched a couple of washers inbetween the gasket and intake face, so this must have been causing an air leak

Took the time whilst the mani was off to fit the wiring properly , through the bulkhead

Fit up the ECU and fusebox in the place I want them

And made a s/s box out of a some extraction ducting to fill up the bulkhead hole

Had a play around with the time lapse camera on iphone, putting the manifold back on with a new gasket,

Had a small wiring scare since cutting the plugs to fit wires through the bulkhead, quickly found out a couple of the wires are the same colour, so after a bit of playing about swapping soem connections and it fired up!
