Subframe: Home Made
CC: 1800
Make: Rover
ECU: Standard
Default K-Series VVC engine/box and subframe setup

Right due to a lack of time, change of plan this is for sale.

Metro/MGF frame, modified to have mini tower mounts and rear legs to toeboard. Side plates to bolt into shock absorber mount bolts.

Comes with correct arms and engine mounts needed, these were brand new recently and hard to find new.

You will need to use an extended front or clubman front with modified valence, unless you want to modify the frame further.

Comes with Metro brakes, wishbones etc. Frame as been modified to use a standard mini steering rack.

Engine.....1800cc VVC engine, MEMS3? with coilpacks at rear. Including wiring loom, ecu, 5as and fob. The engine had headgasket and timing belt done by previous owner, but i would do again for peace of mind. Currently semi stripped, exhaust manifold there but removed for example. No alternator or mountings though, but you will need to decide on that depending on your front end and space.

Complete with a C6BP gearbox, which is the ideal Final Drive ratio for 13" wheels. New clutch was fitted recently. New clutch slave cylinder - was going to keep original mini master cylinder as bore size is very similar. New uprated clutch arm with grease nipple (40) fitted to prevent the common problem of stiff / siezed clutches.

Complete with driveshafts and starter motor etc. Gear rods there but may require cutting to suit lengeth for a mini.

Looking for 450 ono - all the hard work is done, you can simply lift into your car and bolt it up.

I have 5x 13" metro wheels available for 90 extra.

This conversion is well documented on 16vminiclub.
- you will need watson steering rack extensions to make the mini rack reach the Metro hubs
- you wiill need rear spacers and PCD adaptors from watsons to suit the K-series wheels.
- coil over suspension at front

Located in Gateshead, North East England.
