That's exactly what you are doing!
How did your hifi work out? Do you have any minis near you? Or is yours the only one?

the classic minis are stock, people are all about keeping them factory I think up in phx their is a few vtec minis but that's more then 100 miles away in my area, their is a mini club, and a few members have classic's but they dont run, and the club is mostly Bini's the stereo is away, I kind of moved stuff around to make more room in the garage I downgraded the stereo somewhat, im not using 4 of the 18's right now, and 2 of the 12's |

Them 18,s can pack a punch if they have synthetic as surounds, some pro bass players hear a swapping out for smaller bins, look at Bose, you will know that anyway
So the local real mini owners will be wandering what your doing then with your steroid frankinstean idias,

I have some bose 901’s I use as part of the stereo for my desk top computer
I love my old Cerwin Vega earthquake bass bins The bigger the bass bins the better the boom I have some scoop style box 18’s And I have some front loaded behringer 18’s And they don’t make the volume of the earthquakes But they are good for playing music in the garage I would love to try those double 18 jbl’s but those are major money on my turntables, I have a small pair of jbl 2 way 6.5's powered by a Samson dual mono servo amp, I have crazy amounts of stereo gear all over the house Last edited by joakwin; 22-07-2018 at 05:43 PM. |

![]() ![]() I made some taller lower coilover mounts out of some thicker metal, I was trying to make it dual heights but it ended up hitting the bottom of the coilover, so I had to cut off the upper hole im using a 1/2 inch grade 8 bolt, my coilover come set up to use 1/2 inch or 5/8's bolts, but I figure 5/8's is way over kill for the weight of the mini ![]() im making a pair of tow hooks out of 1 inch thick aluminum, the bolt holes are 1/2 inch, I got one cut out so far and mounted ![]() at 1st I wanted to use some dsn classic tow hooks, I have a pair in red that someone gave me, but then I figured why not go over size, because my front lower clip is super huge and the dsn ones would probably look out of place being so small and I wanted to try and make something out of aluminum just to see if I could |
