Default B16a2 IACV

As per title... My B16a2 idle air control valve seems to have sprung a leak when warm and p1sses coolant everywhere.

Anyone got one they would be willing to part with?

Cheers,
H

You don't need to run coolant through the IACV, I looped the pipes and blanked the bottom of the valve.

Oh really? That's a handy fix to know! Does that not affect the operation some kind of auto choke type feature?

Also, what did you use to blank it? Apologies if that's a silly question, I've not whipped the intake manifold off yet to have a better look at it.

No doesn't effect operation, its design for very cold conditions so that it doesn't freeze, not really a problem. It doesn't have to be blanked just the pipes looped together. I think i just put a bit of plate on the IACV just so it looks tidy. Its in my thread somewhere.

Its only held on with 2 bolts the intake doesn't have to come off.
