Default daughters 1303 Beetle

One of those cars you should not have bought , it was close to hayling mini , he said just do it as i was looking for a beetle ...

shuved it in for MOT , 4 pages of fails came back !

daughter has seen it now , and seeing how i love welding , thought why the hell not , better the devil you know etc , and it will be a good few months before she passes MOT

suprise suprise Heater Channels need replacing , plus rear crossmember , and some of the front bulkhead

started cutting

then got to the point of needing to lift the body a bit , so thats next job before fitting new heater channels

never had beetles before , as you can tell, as i have ended up with a 74 1303 , seems to be the runt of the litter

painted the boot (we are going with the trusty satin black and rattle cans again )

then started on the bonnet , had some rust holes in front nose part

cut it out , stuck a plate in

slap some filler on it to cover up my perfect weld
