Default 1992 Mayfair - vtec allspeed b16a

Dear all,
i bought this car before a year. I brought it from germany.. the car is running perfectily and good condition but got rust on the full floor and planning to change it with minisport body panels...

am planning to put vtec honda b16a engine with box
allspeed frame with all follows...just ordered from rob and will be here in next few weeks...
i just got the minitec harness for obd1 ecu.
i have 13x7 miniltes wheels.
i have carbon fiber miliga arches.
ofcourse i got the vtec engine with gearbox

Any ideas would be fine or missin things here

i did some accessories like a dashboard and rear lens and new grille..

today is a history after too much time in this lovely fourm i think me and the car ready to start 20/10/2010 i drove my car to the body shop to do the rust war and changing some panels...renew my painting color...and taking the dashboard and the seats to renew them...here some pics

thnx matt, i hope so...

i just got my mini engine out today ...but i wonder which things that i need from my old mini setup??

the next will be cutting the front end..

guys if there anything wrong with my process let me know...

today just got out the half of the old paint and cut the front end...am waiting for the panels to come over...so it will take 5 days max...

meanwhile i will take all the paint out of the body...here some pics

Looking good so far, its nice to finally get started and start ripping pineapple out of it aint it!

Don't wait on the panels from minisport before doing anything else, they will probably take time so get on with other things as much as you can

What front are you putting on this? Clubby? Extended roundnose?

thnx kam...yes it is...its like when u eat an apple..lol

yeah i will save time to take the half of paint saturday...and no stopping in the body work...when the panels here i will change it...

am looking for the extended front end roundnose...thats an issue am looking for in the end...

but also i like the flip front end..but i cant think about it now...my mind is busy with other things now...lol

i don't know if i can fix it and clean it or i have to change it...

Doesn't look so good. I reckon if it has actual holes then bin it. It seems to have a fair amount of rust, which can only weaken the frame.

yeah thats what i thought...and i did some search and a new like this will cost me to much...what usally they use? i mean replace them!

New Genuine subframes are usually quite expensive, but if you are going to be doing a 16v conversion then I believe you need to have the important bits in good condition before adding all the fancy bits. By the way I like the arches on your car.
