If you can't be bothered to make the effort to post pics then you can't expect people to make the effort to value your car. A picture tells a thousand words, you might have the best spec list ever but if it was built by stevie wonder then it's as good as worthless.

Problem lies in that it is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. A good few years ago a 1.8 ITR engine Allspeed Mini built by MattG when he ran the 16vMiniShop sold via ebay for about 11.5K but you had two desperate buyers bidding against each other. Other people have struggled to get 3.5-4K for a built and running car.

There is also a belief that re-engined Minis are not worth as much now as a decent A series Mini. If this is true then we are spending a s#1t load of cash to devalue our cars.

In my view Minis are starting to fall in to two price categories. Firstly the good condition standard or near standard Minis seem to go for the best money, the more they are modded they seem to be worth less unless you have built a show winning immaculate car (with an A series fitted).

If your Mini is a good condition rust free genuine 1275GT then you'd get the most money by removing the B16 and selling it separately, fitting a pre-A+ 1275GT engine and making sure you've got as many standard original parts on it.

IMHO

I second that, just by looking at what they are selling or rather not selling, it appears that stock classic mini with A series would fetch more than any converted mini.

I would also say it would prob be better to get a cheapo classic frame with a 998 and plumb it all back in and sell allspeed set up separately.

Is an original 1275gt but not worth gt money without the original engine. Bought as a shell to transfer vtec from round nose to clubby.. Car is immaculate has new everything . Don't wanna sell it. Just looking for rough guestimation cheers

Assuming the interior is in order but nothing special, I'd probably part with 6.5k for that.

I paid 5k for mine (also b16) which was MOT'd but barely road worthy. That's a '72 original clubby too. Yours appears to be little more complete and has good brakes. My mini is a watsons frame with standard metro brakes. I've spent 1000 collecting parts to upgrade the brakes, bring the wheel track back in and sort the gearing out... So with that in mind, I'd have paid at least 6k for a fully sorted one. Do you have a final drive in there or is the gearing still standard?
