Thanks.
If you are getting a cage you need at least a 6 point with door bars and make sure (cant stress you enough) its a certified cage (made from the right material cuz you dont want the tube to bend, shatter or snap out from welds). im sure you will have a bucket seat so have a 4 point harness to go with it. In case of a crash you will be much more safer than not having one. Trust me, seen too many people get hurt without cages in minis. If you want to be 100% safe you need a cage like this. This is a race mini so i did the cage accordingly.

Leon thanks for sharing.

At this time I am just not there yet. I am not sure if I will actually be doing any racing at all.

The dream of this is to drive to the mini coast to coast here in Canada. Back in the U.K. it would be roughly the equivalent of driving from England to Iraq.

I do agree the 6 point would be better then the 4 of course. And Im tracking what your saying about certified cages. Very important as safety always is.

Hey gang. I have the mini to Honda minitec axles and I feel like I have to force them into the half shaft.

Is this something that needs some tapping or should it just ease right in there?

Thank you.

Ok the axle in in the half shaft now. Needed a hammer and hockey puck. Now the half shaft is giving me a problem going back into the tranny
