You could weld up the Mazda holes and then get hub drilled to Mini PDC, needs to be perfect, never liked the skinny mini bolts for the amount of power we are putting through these now, but then never heard of any failing. Depends on wheel choice really. What is AWD running.

Thank you a long way off yet though!

I think that awd is using the mass hubs and wheels that are of mazda pcd. Iím going to hopefully be using centre locking wheels anyway I think itís just me being anal and over thinking more then anything, I guess that the Mazda flanges would be a lot easier to go with anyway

That's what I did.
Then it's 4x100 pcd wheels all round

I’m sure I’ll sort something or I’ll probably just be lazy and keep it the same and go for centre locking wheels
So been to the scrap yard this morning and I’ll be having two b20 engines 2 crv gearboxes another tear diff and a few other bits and pieces coming this week. I thought it was a good option to have all of it as I will have a spare gearbox and diff that can be rebuilt for when I need them incase mine go bang and spare engines if I need them or the other option is to keep one as a spare and sell the other

Yeah you can get them from force racing they’ve do the wheels and the centre locking nuts so that may be the route in which I go down...
I’m still unsure on the gearing! All I can think of is an lsd and change the 5th gear for an ls one but that’s as far as it can go I guess! But annoyed by it if I’m honest

good about the wheels,
yes it would be a worie, the old gearing chestnut,
i would fit as big tyre as i could, thers been chat recently about big gap into 5th,
i think if 1st is useless you cant afford to have 5th miles away, even more so if 2nd is a crawler gear! if 2nd replaces 1st(lets say) it just leaves 3rd and 4th> then your into no direct 5th with a big gap, not fact!!! but it dont make me feel good,
again whats it used for?
i can say that any mini that will do 110 mph TOPS, qwickly will be usefull,
you can gear it to do 150 but you wont live with it and if you do please make a film lol,
i dont know wher my gearing is going to be but i have exsepted that rather than fiddle with it now im going to drive it first then act if its to bad,

The plan at the moment is to go with the standard gearbox first and see here that goes if it’s pants I will have a look into replacing the 5th gear and we if that helps if that doesn’t work I’ll look into having the gearbox machined to have different gears out in. I’ll have two gearboxes anyway so whilst one is out u can have a play with the other. The main concern about the wheels with the gearing as well is that they may rub too much

Right so I managed to collect both engine gearboxes the other diff and cable selector today!

Really looks bad how we got them into the trailer but thatís all I could get at short notice!
But it means that I can use some of the ancillaries of the engines for my b18c4 as mine came with none annoyingly!
Going to try and clean the diff up today if I get chance

Afternoon some research this afternoon with final drives and gearing to do with the crv gearbox I think I am happy with what will happen either way the left hand side is the standard crv gearbox and the right hand side is the crv with an ls 5th gear.

So at the moment I’m thinking of just going with the standard gearbox seeing how that handles as I feel it will be cable of doing what I need I hope!
