Could be good 3 heads are better then 1, I live in Sheffield so not from Chesterfield at all! What frame you going for...err Mat is it?

i've made the custom made the frame pal but not had the engine in yet so may need to be modified yet but we'll see

Finished off the arch tonight,

Put a few more tacks on the inner arch and the outer join with the quarter panel, and used the tin snips to trim the excess down to about 10mm, to create a stanard-looking arch lip:





Also, stitch welded the other side of the sheet panel, to the inside of the arch inside the car/boot

Slapped a load of rust primer on and bobs yer nob job done

Wasn't that happy with this the arch isn't as round as I'd hoped to get it, should've spent more time rounding it off with the snips.



Also, can someone tell me what this bracket fixed to the arch on the inside of the boot is -



Its been that long since I took everything apart, I can't even remember! I know it's not for the fuel tank, cos the filler opening's on the other side!??

I'm having the same problem, can't get into the garage as the door has vanished....
