this is excellent. im taking the loom out of the 200 vi tomorrow, and fingers crossed the weather holds and it will be engine and box too. thanks

on the r200 loom is isn't needed, on the r400 loom it needs connecting to the black and green wire on the grey engine loom plug.

thats the 5 as immobiliser, the starter realy on mems 1.9/2j is a black box with 2 square plugs - one large, one small and is within the engine loom.

Thank you very much for this post. I am in the making of a Rover build but no engine or loom as yet. I was going to take the whole loom and just fit into my Mini but may just do this now you have made so easy but if my build gets on top of me I will be calling on yourself to make me a loom. Thank you again for the post. It takes alot of Time and Thought to make posts like this and I am like yourself so THANK YOU!

You need to set up an account with (doesn't cost anything) photo bucket and save any photos there, then you can copy the link that it gives your photos and then post it in the dialog box when you put a post up.

My 5as has a green plug and an orange plug. It's a 52 plate mgzr160.

I needed both plugs, my engine cane out of a tf 160 but the plugs are a different colour, but aperantly some only need the one plug.
