Had the gearbox off a while back to check condition of the clutch, seemed bollocksed to me (engine/box on 80K), so took the opportunity to get a competition stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel,
![]() and got the box back on, I'm glad it was all out of the car when I was doing it. Sticking with doing the bear minimum to get this show on the road, Im not even attempting to clean up the engine, it's going in like this ![]() |

I have spent a bit of time checking what bits and pieces need doing before first start up, and this has been a lot easier thanks to the 5 door civic MB6 sitting on the drive - with identical B18C4 engine
This is pretty much a standard , running engine so if anyone ever needs me to do a pic/vid on where certain wires/sensors, anything fits to I would be happy to help out [IMG] ![]() |

So I got it running! First time in almost 10 years Had a few issues since the over revving, took the intake manifold off and found i'd accidentally sandwiched a couple of washers inbetween the gasket and intake face, so this must have been causing an air leak Took the time whilst the mani was off to fit the wiring properly , through the bulkhead ![]() Fit up the ECU and fusebox in the place I want them ![]() ![]() And made a s/s box out of a some extraction ducting to fill up the bulkhead hole ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Had a play around with the time lapse camera on iphone, putting the manifold back on with a new gasket, |
