Default Weber 45mm ITB's on X16XE

Hello!
I have found a set of Weber 45 mm DCOE throttle bodies for sale near me.
They have the same mount as regular weber 45 carbs.
They have a totalt length including velocity stacks of 198 mm.
The stacks themselves are 80 mm long.

Im wondering if this could fit in my roundnose, with allspeed frame?
How long are the SBD throttle bodies with velocity stacks?
How many mm are the SBD bodies?, and how long are the stacks/diameter of stacks?

I havent started mounting the engine/subframe yet, thats why i cant measure if it will fit...

thanks,

Peter Sweden

I would have a look at SBD website as there is quite a bit of info and if not found then call Steve at SBD. They can probably provide a tech drawing with the dimensions, angles etc. Then you can compare those to what you are looking at buying locally.

I thought the standard length of most tb is 118mm, then you can get smaller ones (look at Jenveys website for the options) stacks/trumpets come in a multitude of shapes, sizes and lengths, there is no standard.

I will check in with sbd, and ask if theyre willing to give me the info.
As it seems now, with these ITB's, i will need very short velocity stacks in order to get it to fit, will be easie to use a shorter throttle body to be able to try different sizes and so on.

I just wanted the SBD sizes to have some starting point.

I have been trying to find out if it is possible to use the std inlet from a Tigra (X16XE) but ive only found that it needs "bulkhead mods", how big mods are we talking about here?
Would be easier to get it registrered with the std injection/emission system and then after that is done, i can start making it go faster.

hi i used a bogg brothers manifold for my bike carbs which probably arnt much different in size to the throttle bodies. the manifold is angled upwards and clears the bulkhead with no mods with room for decent air filters. my brake and clutch master cylinder are inside the car. there is no way it would fit with the master cylinders in the original position.
