Fixed! For some reason the settings on Imgur were set to Large image

Greatest mod I have ever done to a car.



Just need the paint to fade again so it matches the rest of the car

As much as I want the s***box 90's Astra look, this had to be addressed as its just a little too close to a suspension point for comfort. While only superficial I can imagine that if I get my MOT guy on a bad day he might have failed me for it.



One repair panel later and I was ready to start.



I should have known better that it wasn't just going to be the top layer that needed fixing. Ran a wire wheel on a drill over it and a large chunk of my sill disintegrated.



New metal going back in.






Found I didn't take any photos of the full repair but I did take one of the prep I did for the top quality paint job I did (read top quality as rattle can under sealer). I did the full sill as there were a few spots of surface rust which I decided to treat and repaint.




Eh... It suits the car.
