Love the filler work Andy, will it be ready for the drive up in January? Cheers for the helmet shot (fanr fanr)

Lol. I don't think Sammy would like the drive up in Phoenix. Would be a nice thought though if it's finished.

I have been chatting with Keith and Bill about doing the North Coast 500 run. Scenery looks fantastic. It's a different kind of challenge other than track events.

I want to get Phoenix back on the road. Once happy everything is ok, looking at swapping the gear ratios to give better cruising. I have got a Freelander 1.8 petrol box, S4. This knocks 500 rpm off my current 3800 rpm at 70.

The exhaust currently fitted has the cherry bomb back box. It's just road legal. Sounds great but is annoying on motorway journeys. A few years ago a Japanese spec 50mm bore system came up for sale at a local club. I bought it but it's still in my garage! The current setup uses a mid box from a ZR. It's too big for a Mini. I only have 80mm ground clearance. Obviously the one designed for a Mini will help with that.
