Man I would love to have this car and probably would have bought it if I didn't buy another Estate and shipped it to the US 1 week prior to you listing it! I am a weird guy that actually prefers honda auto. Dammit! How would bringing that into the US work now? Last time I got it through, but they seem to be popping hoods and looking at engines now. That is why I stopped looking at buying already converted cars in the UK. Thoughts? Might have to shuffle some thing around.

It's hit or miss these days. Luckily your in the military. I used to bring them in myself to Baltimore Port, but last time (2 years ago) you had to pay an escort $50 an hour, etc. This go around I just payed my customs broker so hopefully I can just go pick it up at a warehouse. But I looked into getting engine swapped cars and it just seemed 50/50. More than likely you won't have a problem, I know when I brought in 2 rebuilt 1275's 2 years back as well they were missing the engine tag and they thought they were brand new. So I had to have the company who rebuilt them send a certified document stating they were what they were to clear customs. So they ended up sitting in storage for 2 weeks at $40-50 a day. Anyway, good luck, I really wanted to bring a few converted cars over, but haven't seen anyone do it lately, and I just didn't want to take the risk.

if its a classic car (25 years or older) the motor should not matter, it doesnt have any specs it has to meet
