These you great, well done. will you be putting the mk1 lights on your ebay site or how do i buy. One quick question how do the tail lights change to stop light, do they go brighter as i carn't see any extra leds.

The LEDs for the stop / tail are the same, when just the tail lights, the power of the LEDs is reduced to about 1/4 , when the Brake lights come on, they go to full power..

I'm doing a few final soak tests at the moment.. testing in high ambient temperature, and at higher than normal voltage... and I'll be putting them on my website when I'm 100% happy. (Oh and water splash tests too )

I already tested the later ones.. I've put one of the prototypes on eBay to see what interest there is..
lots of visits and lots of watchers !

Oh, so you're on THAT side of the argument! Just joking! Most people who don't know call it a Mini and I have to explain the whole Mini-Elf-Hornet relationship. Then when I open the bonnet and show them the SOHC VTEC, they get really confused.

The problem with the Elf lights is that the lenses attach to the bezel with tabs at the rear and don't come off like the Mini's. Plus nobody does any reproduction lenses or clear ones, so they're getting increasingly rare. I've thought about cutting a set up to do an LED panel, but probably the simplest thing is just to use the LED replacement "bulbs".

Marcus,

added a picture of the MK2 ..to the posting below

this uses the two of the same boards as the MKIII and later

I will be putting them all on my website in the next day or two

(promised Pete I'd replace the outer sills on the mini by the weekend)
