The Ferrari 355 body conversion for a Mk2 MR2 is well known but I came across this body conversion for a Mk3 MR2

Agreed. Something like the Hawk Stratos however, has the same power as an original. If a rep looks and goes like it should, for a fraction of the cost, then it's all good!

Yes. An aquaintance has a Stratos kit car with a Cyclone 40v 2-litre V8 - 320 bhp.
That's a worthy replica for sure |

Yeah, it was built for the French Toutes Terrain championship - there are a couple still being used there. Cost was on par with its peers (Millington and breathed-on Nissan 350Z motors included). Many innovations in that series - 2-litre V16 using four Yamaha R6 heads/barrels, three-rotor Wankel to name a couple.
The Cyclone is still available I think through Mark Pemble in Dorset |
