Default Want a good screw with nipple,

Bike carbs have a awkward throttle cable joiner in middle,
It's a clever system once in place,
What did you use?
I used to be able to buy a round lug with a tiny screw with hole for cable ,,the bosh,
Went in 2 motor bike shops but they didn't have a clue,
Unless I want a bike cable off the shelf it's no good for them,
Where have all the motor engineers gone?

Shaun, when I read the title, thought you were on the wrong kind of site for that!

Can you not get something similar to the cable clamp on the throttle/choke cables on the SU type carb?

Or something like this?

The e,bay link is close, I could have robed a s,u clamp but
Not near them and wanted to bolt on tonight,
And seems I want to connect the peach while carbs are in my hand, as it's long way down if the mongs are bolted on

Solderless nipples like the eBay link but you can get them a lot cheaper. Used on all lambretta and Vespa scooters plus more Search classic scooter solderless nipples .
Also seen chocolate blocks used but with the plastic cover removed .

Solderless niples, yes that's the ones,
I discovered them on lambretas years ago,
There's a nice choice when I looked for them,
Now to find out close size as it swivels
Can't get in to measure orifice so looks like I have to undo, box them, opp,s
