outside in the sun by joa kwin, on Flickr

moved the car outside to get a good look at it and to turn it around

so that I could finish sanding the right rear fender and start working on the rear valance and cut the rear fenders

I have 165/60/13's mounted in the front
and 175/50/13's mounted in the rear, (still need to change those wheels out for the new ones)
but the sides walls on the front tires are almost double of the rear's

I changed up the exhaust, removed the cat, and made it a side exit in front of the right rear wheel

I'm in the process of buying this mill, its 425miles each way from my location
I'm having my brother and dad go pick it up on sunday, since they live about 15mins from Bonita
and then I'm going to go out in a few weeks from now to bring it home

I dont know a lot about mills, but I have done a few things with them over the years cutting stuff out manually on a Bridgeport at work

but I figure buying one for home use will help me really help me get better with that tool

I was looking at buying a brand new sieg x2, alittle smaller then this jet machine, but the jet weighs more and cost double of the x2 machine when brand new, so I think in the long run, I'll be able to use the jet machine longer before having to upgrade
what I really want is a Bridgeport mill, but they go for big money

mini mirror right side by joa kwin, on Flickr

my brother gave me some old mirrors he had laying around, they are stock Harley Davidson motorcycle mirrors
I got some allen head bolts (not pictured) to bolt them to the door skin,
I welded some 1/4 inch nuts to the door skin

I made the base plate out of some aluminum

mini on new wheels by joa kwin, on Flickr

had to do some work on the front of the mini, so I had to turn it around
I lifted up the rear of the car 1/2inch since taking this picture

I'm in the process of making a to-do list and everyday I try to knock out 1 or 2 things on it

this weekend the big plan is to work on headlight wiring and turn signals, and the horn, and aux lights

led spot lights by joa kwin, on Flickr

this is what I plan to use for my aux lights, I plan to mount them behind the grill (for now), I picked up the pair of led lights for $40 USD
seeing how the del sol came with the factory aux lights, the wiring is already set up, so I plan to use it
