Hi Marcus,
I checked actual oil pick. I think I can make it quite easily. All I need is to cut where it is welded and slide in after cutting to desired length. Also, I can cut and weld support stay to suit as well. I shall see how it goes may be this weekend. Cheers Atchi |

Hi,
I have done it now. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have shorten it by 10mm. I used air blower to clean it just in case. It took me 30 mins to do it so not too difficult! I got my engine from my parents' garage so I might fit it soo. Cheers Atchi |

I'm sure that will flow plenty. I don't know what 1300cc bike you took it off of, but if it's a sport bike, those regularly spin at least 2x what your Swift motor will see. That's approx 2x the volume of exhaust(considering both motors are 1.3L)...

Hi Mr. Bell,
I hope so. I just found one on ebay and thought..... I think I can make twin exit for my Mini unlike everyone elses! You are right about volume of exhaust bike will be pushing I guess. I will be using middlebox from RC50 setup(straight through) then this so I hope not too noisey. I don't wnant get too much attension from Police! Then again, driving like you stole it did get me stopped by police last week.... luckyly police man said "I'm going to flick your ear and let you go".... ![]() I think I will drain oil from my engine and fit my oil pickup and sump this weekend! Cheers Atchi |

Hi,
My scafolding pipes are off from back extension so I took 2 good length pipes and start to chop and weld. ![]() It is 1450mm across and 900mm high. I'm hoping to get hold of 4 casters and it will make good height, I think. I will be welding halves of Machine Mart CO2 bottle as a pivot point. Once I finish this frame, I can bring my Mini over from my parents' garage. Cheers Atchi |

While I was surfing web in Teanswift, I found few bit I liked so I bought them. Set of 13 inch Compomotive wheels with Pirelli tyres. ![]() inlet manifold off mk1 Cultus Gti(better design for air flow). ![]() I bought this one for future turbo project. Cheers Atchi |

Hi,
I have brought over my Mini over from my parent's garage last week. It is all thanks to Roy who is a friend of my good friend. Unfortunately it saw rain fairst time in 8 years! I got soooo much plans that I don't think I have time to sleep. I shall start off by fitting on to my spit and weld my messy weld again to tidy state by grinding and make it better ![]() ![]() Yes it has been 8 years this August...... ![]() Cheers Atchi |

Hi Atchi
I will be watching your build closely, so what are your plans? I bet you are like a dog with two d1cks having your mini home at last ![]() With all those spare parts you have collected you must have a plan ![]() Let me know anything you want to sell that will be useful to me, that Cultus manifold looks interesting. Is it smaller than the mark 2 one ![]()

Hi Jerry,
Well, Cultus manifold is like hens teeth in Uk... may be even in the world to be honest(especially for mk1). I think the design is better, better equal length tubes. If you can find mk2 onwards, they are hand made item using tubes and so on. Yes I have a lot of plans. I have 4 mk1 gearboxes, 1 with LSD with 3.528:1 diff ratio. 3 others are spares 2 of them good with std 4.1:1 with cross pin diffs. I think when I turbo my G13B(with over bore and Vitara pistons), I will fit 13" with 4.1 diff with LSD. I'm not sure how good gearbox is to cope with over 200Bhp, this is why I need spares. Also, I have a friend in Ireland with 3 mk1 Gti(1x Cultus) who can give me spares! I'm sure you know what it feels like to drive. It is so much better engine than anything with 1300cc and revs happy and internals are good for over 200+Bhp. Shame about gearbox! I have 2 diffs which will be benefit to you. 1 mk2 which is ready to take Phantom grip LSD and 2 mk1 cross pin diffs. Fitting any of above will give less worry abot your diff exploding but you have to think about your 2nd gear next. Cheers Atchi |
