I've removed it. I'll do some testing when I'm next home. Hopefully I won't be jamming it into reverse instead of 1st too many times If I do, then I'll come up with something.

It suddenly came to me that it was gone, it looks much tidier without it.
I'm sure once you get used to the position of the gears, you shouldn't have an issue.
Great work by the way.

It'll be a track car so hopefully I won't be using 1st or reverse too much.

Thanks
I'm trying to do what I can whilst I'm away from the car.

I would be interested to see some more pics of that rear subframe when you get a chance mate, looks a bit like what i was thinking of doing to gain some ground clearance from the exhaust

It's about 180 miles away soI can't get any images but the idea is borrowed from Marcus Nordblom and someone from Turbominis

Marcus' is about halfway down this page:

But the other way round

Someone imported a lot from the states and sold them on. Needless to say, the 5 panel mirrors went quite quick. You can see everything in them! Hopefully they'll appear quite small

Some actual progress and not "things I've bought"

Blasted and sprayed my wheels at uni:

Some of the old paint was real tough!

Despite costing me 40 in materials, it was still cheaper than any quotes to get the professionally blasted and painted.

Will return tomorrow to laquer them.

I'm at UWE my friend. The 4 panel mirror is just an interior mirror but you can actually see everything out of it instead of nothing!
Kinda shown here:

Thanks guys
