Talking carbon kevlar estate .

Well got a few days to my self this week so thought I would start on one of my own vtec buulds . . All ready got the roof chopped off and new roof made and hand delivered few weeks ago by arc angles . Hand Built the roll cage welded big plates to floors ect . Chopped bulk head ready . Seem sealed under body and 6lt of stone gaurd later this is how I left it . Orded 5lts of old English white . Will paint under body and inside my self then off to gavins for the rest to be done . will get sum more pics up over weekend .

is this the one you were working on when i came up last weekend? Would love to see some pics of the roof as i was thinking of getting mine carbon wrapped as its in great condition.

Looking good! I forgot to ask when I was there but how are you planning on modifying the fuel tank?

Easy . Just welding a 10 bit of pipe to it near the old one . So the old pipe will be the return/off flow from swirl pot . and new will be the feed . So tank . Then to an inline filter , low pressure fuel pump . Swirl pot . High pressure pump . Fuel rail . Return to swirl . Over fill swirl to tank .

your making your own frames??? id like to get another one for a friend he has a 60,s estate/van hes going to start rrstoring, so y not tro a b18 into it let me know dude, keep us updated on this looking forward to it

Yea no worries . All ready made 5 frames and sold 4 of them .

Well after a nice relaxing break over the bank holiday . Finished the welding off and put 4lts of high build primer on insides .

Well that s 1lts and a half of old English white . In the in side s done . Had a play with sum purple paint and sum netting .

Go on i dare u do netting on the bonnet and back doors or put a tin roof back on,that purple would look amazing against the white love old skool stuff

Was goin to do all the roof . But it was fooked . So thats y its goin carbon kevlar might do the inside boot lid in it
