Back on e-bay for a third time, price getting more realistic each time. Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302430559281
Not enough photos or history for me to make a trip all the way to Bristol.

Yes spotted that myself!

Not clued up on these engines but it's a 8V, 2 litre non turbo removed from a 130 Cavalier. In the specs it says "power 120" Is that all it can achieve?

Looks a tidy Mini though.

Doesn't look like it'll be too long before that floor needs replacing anyway!
If it's from an SRi 130 then it should be 130bhp, the standard SRi had 115-120bhp.

Pretty sure the SRi 130 was called that because it was capable of 130mph, not it's bhp.

Nope, it was its BHP, it was only good for just over 120mph

I didn't think that was too bad for a 2.0 8v in standard tune back then, the 1.8 16v K series only manages that, and it was much later!

that made a qwick astra back then,, strong engine ect, the redtop gte was a lot qwicker,, it was obouve 110 mph that the 20xe realy kept pulling strong upto about 140 mph, and i will tell you that was golden back then as only super cars could get ther, and some other big cc cars,
but dont forget the 2ltr and xe where in similar cars/astra/cav/
130 would make a orsom mini.
