I am in the starting process of building a Toyota clubman and I can already see that I will be getting some very useful info on this forum.

Default Cape Town 16v

Hi Fabian and Willie, I'm from Cape Town and also embarking on a Toyota Powered Mini adventure. I will be using a clubman as my base, powered by a 4-AGE 1600 16v. I will keep an eye on your build diary for inspiration and advice.

Willie, did you build your own subframe?

Regards
Josť

Hi Josť,

I used to stay at 39 Victoria Road (just out of camps bay) when I worked there.. I miss the place a lot !

Is Chapmans Peak Drive open now ? I can just imagine zipping round there in a valver !

Chris

Hi Spiyda,

Yes it's open, will be closed on Sunday for the Cape Argus Cycle Race no doubt, but it's an awesome ride in a mini, no matter how many valves...
